With a flagship store in Vermont and a line of goods that has grown to feature linens, wood and glass products, and more, the Zilians’ business hasn’t stopped growing since they threw that first bowl in their basement. But despite the many changes the endeavor has undergone, their mission remains the same. “We are Old-World potters with simple tools and strong beliefs in process and authenticity,” James says. “We believe the farmers, craftsmen, and makers are the core of our community and that farm-to-table isn’t a foodie trend but rather a rediscovery of a more sustainable lifestyle and value system. Through our craft and daily lives, we’re hoping to reconnect others to this lifestyle and redefine its place in the modern day.”
You can find Farmhouse Pottery’s products in their storefront in Woodstock, Vermont, in retail stores throughout the country, or online.
