Because of the beautiful climate, much of Carol’s time is spent outdoors relaxing on her terrace and enjoying the harbor view. Stairs just beyond lead to the dock below where her favorite mode of transportation awaits, her Boston schooner.
A man by the name of George B. was an earlier owner of the cottage and his guests affectionately called the place “B’s Nest.” But as time passed the name evolved, and Bees Nest is what it is known as today.
The light-filled master bedroom is just steps away from the Tuscany-styled bath. Inside the bathroom a glass-front storage cabinet filled with towels is within reach of the pedestal sink. Decorative plaques hang from the travertine surrounding the tub. All this comes together to create an inviting escape for relaxing.
