
When David tells people that he spends his days painting in his garage-turned-art studio, they may be envisioning a whitewashed, sterile environment. They could possibly assume that he rolls out of bed at whatever time he pleases and throws on a messy, paint-stained smock before taking the eight steps from his house to the studio. But that vision and setting couldn’t be further from what inspires David as an artist.
